Innovative Strategies for Mental Health
The Innovative Strategies project will expand upon the existing efforts of the RMHN by incorporating relationship mapping to analyze the current behavioral health system from a service, sector, and systems perspective and to develop strategies and a model to better coordinate and deliver services, maximize resources, and advocate for policy that promote an integrated network of partners to facilitate positive behavioral health systems change.
With Missouri passing the Medicaid Expansion in 2020 we have been able to reach and assist this population to get healthcare.
What is the purpose of this program?
To collaborate current service providers serving on Rural Mental Health Network; Community Connections MO web-based data management and electronic health information sharing system in a new behavioral health system framework.
What problem is this program hoping to solve?
Identification of behavioral health service providers and promoting continuum of care .
Impact or Results from the Program?
Developed strategies and a model to better coordinate and deliver services through relationship mapping to analyze the current behavioral health system from a service, sector, ad systems perspective and facilitate positive behavioral health systems change.
